CA Law Review — Funeral Arranger Training

Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 7, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the CA Law Review training platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

CA Law Review provides online training materials and recordkeeping tools designed to help California funeral establishments meet the documented training requirements of Business & Professions Code §7635. The Platform is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the California Cemetery and Funeral Bureau or any other state agency.

3. Account Registration

You must register for an account to access training content. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Training and Completion Certificates

Upon successful completion of all required coursework and assessments, you will receive a completion certificate. This certificate documents that you have completed the training program offered by CA Law Review. It does not constitute a state-issued license, certification, or endorsement.

Completion certificates are valid for three (3) years from the date of issuance, consistent with the retraining cycle described in B&P §7635.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account or allow others to complete training on your behalf
  • Reproduce, distribute, or republish any training content without written permission
  • Attempt to circumvent progress tracking, assessment requirements, or other platform controls
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose

6. Intellectual Property

All training content, course materials, assessments, and platform design are the intellectual property of CA Law Review and are protected by copyright law. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to access the content for your personal training purposes only.

7. Payment and Pricing

Access to the training program requires payment of the applicable enrollment fee. Prices are listed on the Platform at the time of enrollment and may change without prior notice for future enrollments. Payment is processed securely through our payment provider.

8. Refund Policy

All sales of digital training content are considered final once course content has been accessed. This is consistent with industry standards for professional compliance training programs.

Full Refund: You may request a full refund within forty-eight (48) hours of purchase, provided you have not accessed any course content (no videos viewed, no sections opened, no quizzes attempted). A $25 administrative fee will be deducted.

No Refund: No refunds will be issued after forty-eight (48) hours from purchase, or once any course content has been accessed, or once a completion certificate has been issued — whichever occurs first.

Establishment Subscriptions: Annual subscriptions may be refunded (minus a $50 administrative fee) only within fourteen (14) days of purchase and only if no staff seats have been activated. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

How to Request: To request a refund, contact us at refunds@calawreview.com with your account email and the reason for your request. Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." CA Law Review makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Platform's fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of content, or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that completion of our training program will satisfy any specific regulatory requirement — compliance with B&P §7635 is ultimately the responsibility of the funeral establishment.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CA Law Review shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, including but not limited to loss of revenue, regulatory penalties, or business interruption.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of California.
